Opera Guild of San Antonio is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of opera and opera education for youth and adults. OSA has been fortunate to collaborate with the Opera Guild of San Antonio on major projects such as the award-winning “Explore Opera for Kids!” video series and our the 2nd Annual Apprentice Artist Program.
Our award-winning “Explore Opera for Kids!” videos and concert series would not have been possible without a continued partnership with the San Antonio Public Library. For more than 110 years, the award-winning San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) has been a vital center for free learning, knowledge, communication, culture, and enjoyment within the City of San Antonio and for all Bexar County residents. We are proud to partner with an organization who is integral to the education of all in our community.
OPERA San Antonio continues to build and nurture a relationship with the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio (CCSA) by providing choristers with opportunities in mainstage productions and collaborative community events. The CCSA is a community-based musical non-profit organization. Through specially crafted programming, CCSA transforms the lives of young people through the power of music and friendship. They are shaping San Antonio’s future – one voice at a time.
OPERA San Antonio and UNAM San Antonio have teamed up to conduct Spanish-language opera appreciation workshops, taught by renowned opera critic Gerardo Kleinburg. Each workshop consists of three sessions culminating in the attendance of an OSA opera premiere at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
Charlie’s Seats is a complimentary ticket program designed to provide under-resourced groups and individuals with tickets to attend a variety of live performances at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. OSA is grateful for our partnership with the Tobin Center for sponsoring tickets for our collaboration with UNAM San Antonio.
